‘Memories of Salisbury’ is the latest video about Salisbury produced in 2009.
It was filmed at different times of the year whilst walking in the Cathedral City, in the neighbouring Town of Wilton, and at the historic sites of Old Sarum and Stonehenge.
The medieval city of Salisbury, which was founded at the beginning of the Thirteenth Century, has a rich and diverse heritage, inspiring artists, authors and musicians throughout the ages. This jewel in South Wiltshire’s crown welcomes visitors from all over the world, to enjoy the sights of the past within a thriving English market town.
This record of memorable sights and sounds are harmonised with original music composed by Daniel Selmon and historical narrative spoken by Roger Crisp.
